the big search

I am on a mission to find my own illustration style. I work
for a children's book publisher and have to keep a lot of my
work in "their" style. I've been doing it so long that I don't remember what my style actually was or if I ever had one. That is the main reason for this blog. I am going to sketch and experiment as much as I can. I need to set up my studio and just play without rules again. I haven't given myself permission to do so in a very long time.

No Illustration Friday this week...

I didn't make it. Didn't leave enough time to sketch with the job, hanging out with the Little Sister, logo for Ang, and all the rest! Next week is a new week!

Fresh and New!

It's a new year, I'm fresh from recovery from major surgery so I decided to start the illustration blog that I've been meaning to do for so long! So here I am and hopefully I'll keep sketching and practicing
for a long time. I mainly created this blog to participate in Illustration Fridays that I've been lurking and peeking at since its beginnings. So inspiring! I'm still figuring the ins and outs of posting so bare with me. I'm a fresh newbie.
